In the first quarter of 2023, the top five music and podcast apps in Venezuela showed varied performance trends in downloads, revenue, and active users, according to Sensor Tower data.

Spotify: Music and Podcasts experienced a significant increase in weekly revenue, peaking at $72 in the third week of March. Weekly downloads were generally strong, with a notable peak of 124K in the week of March 20. However, weekly active users saw a decline from approximately 5.3M at the end of December to 4.5M by the end of March.

YouTube Music had modest revenue, peaking at $3 in late January. Weekly downloads showed a downward trend, starting at 10.7K at the end of December and declining to 5.7K by the end of March. Conversely, weekly active users increased from around 418K to 439K over the same period.

MP3 Downloader - Music Player maintained steady download numbers, with weekly downloads ranging between 6K and 9.6K. Active users saw a slight decline from 34.5K at the end of December to 27.5K by the end of March.

Shazam: Find Music & Concerts had consistent weekly downloads, fluctuating between 5.4K and 7K. Active users remained stable, ranging from approximately 130K to 135K throughout the quarter.

Mp3 Music Downloader Tubeplay saw a rapid rise in downloads, peaking at around 13.9K in late February before dropping to zero in mid-March. Active users increased from 165 in early January to 19.4K by the end of February, before dropping to 13K by the end of March.
